A two-volume publication will appeared in conjunction with the exhibition at the Draiflessen Collection, Mettingen (11.07.2016–29.01.2017). The first volume examines this new way of looking at the phenomenon of the family-run company, one based on actual business figures from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The second volume provides an in-depth overview of the subject from the perspective of scholars from a variety of disciplines.
